Panch Pokhari is a group of five (panch) Hindu holy lakes in Nepal's Sindhupalchowk District. During Janai Purnima, the lakes are a popular destination for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.
The Panch Pokhari trek, which means five lakes, is situated to the north of Kathmandu. This area is in the Lantang National Park and contains a surprising amount of forests and wildlife. This trek to Panch Pokhari at the base of Jungal Himal offers pristine mountain views, rich culture, and genuine adventure.
